​江柏翰博士畢業於國立陽明大學神經科學研究所，博士班時期主要研究與記憶相關的海馬迴(hippocampus)，以及恐懼的中樞杏仁核(Amydala)。博士畢業後有感於現今科技在神經科學研究的不足，導致有許多神經科學研究進展緩慢，因此到美國麻省理工學院(MIT)材料系實驗室進行博士後研究，致力於開發遠端無線遙控神經技術。博士後研究期間，利用磁奈米科技、電機、神經科學、分子遺傳學，與MIT教授(Prof. Polina Anikeeva)一起研發改進磁遺傳學(Magnetogenetics)。希望未來可以應用到更多的神經科學研究中，甚至應用到臨床治療神經性疾病。
